Renal RehabTM
We specialize in Renal RehabTM which is designed around restoring physical abilities to those who have lost their ability to function due to the negative side effects of kidney disease and dialysis.
Renal RehabTM using standardized testing specific to individuals with kidney disease to determine musculoskeletal and cardiovascular deficits resulting from kidney disease and the effects dialysis has on the body. Medically supervised exercise programs are developed from the testing results to improve strength, flexibility, cardiovascular health, and psychological well being.
Patient Education
Hood Healthcare LLC believes strongly in educating patients about their condition. Through our newsletter, direct patient contact, or monthly health talks we take great interest in teaching people how to live healthy and manage kidney disease.
Disease Management
Diseases such as diabetes and hypertension can lead to kidney disease. Through nutritional counseling and exercise prescription we offer ways for individuals to control, prevent, or even reverse these diseases which lead to kidney disease.
